Starting with piano lessons in elementary school, Aimer's passion for music continued to grow as she looked up to iconic artists such as Ringo Sheena and Utada Hikaru.

During her years in junior high, Aimer discovered the music of Avril Lavigne, who ignited her interest in guitar playing and writing English lyrics. This newfound inspiration led her to express her emotions and thoughts through her own compositions. Little did she know, this would shape her musical style and pave the way for her future career.

At the age of fifteen, Aimer faced a significant setback when she lost her voice due to overuse of her vocal cords. Determined to overcome this obstacle, she underwent silence therapy to treat her condition.
