Einár, whose real name is Nils Kurt Erik Einar Grönberg, was a Swedish rapper who grew up in Enskede, Stockholm. Born on September 5, 2002, and tragically passing away on October 21, 2021, Einár made a significant impact on the Swedish hip-hop scene, dominated by artists with foreign backgrounds. In an interview with YouTuber Anis Don Demina, he proudly expressed his Swedish heritage, stating, "I am as Swedish as can be."

Throughout his upbringing, Einár found inspiration and motivation from artists such as Kartellen and Sebastian Stakset, whom he later collaborated with. He openly shared his admiration for them in an interview with TV4. Beyond Sebastian, the rapper hailing from Dalarna has collaborated with several prominent artists, including Dree Low and Adel, both of whom were born in Husby. Einár also expressed his desire to collaborate with nationally recognized pop and soul artist Veronica Maggio.

Einár first gained attention with short freestyle clips uploaded to Instagram. His breakthrough came in early 2019 when he released the track "Katten i trakten," produced by Niro. The song topped the Svensktopplistan chart for nearly four weeks. During the production of the song, Einár was placed under involuntary care at a treatment home in Dalarna. Despite the challenges, he recorded the song and music video during his temporary release to a studio in Stockholm.

On June 7, 2019, Grönberg released his debut album, "Första Klass." The album experienced success, reaching the top of the charts for a total of five weeks over eleven weeks. Einár intentionally released the album on the first Friday after the month-long Muslim holiday of Ramadan out of respect for his Muslim listeners and friends, as many devout Muslims abstain from listening to secular music during this holy month.

Tragically, Einár was shot and killed in southern Stockholm on October 21, 2021, at the young age of 19. The day after his untimely passing, 19 of his songs dominated the Topp 50 Sverige-listan, with three of them securing the top three spots.
