Ezhel, whose real name is Sercan İpekçioğlu, is a Turkish rapper and musician known for his versatile style and musical talent. Born in Ankara in 1991, Ezhel developed an interest in rap music from a young age and has since become a prominent figure in the Turkish music scene. Apart from rap, he also explores various other genres, such as Reggae. Ezhel is not only a skilled rapper but also a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in playing instruments like the guitar, piano, ney (a Turkish reed flute), def (a frame drum), and darbuka (a goblet drum).

During the early stages of his career, Ezhel was nicknamed "Rastaman" due to his appearance in the "Ais" era. After dropping the suffix "Ais," he adopted the stage name Ezhel and released his debut solo album, "Müptezhel," in 2017. This album played a significant role in popularizing Trap music among Turkish-speaking rap listeners. Collaborating with producers, Ezhel formed the "Koal" team, which included Bugy, DJ Artz, and Ezhel himself.

Notably, Ezhel's song "Şehrimin Tadı," featured on his album, became the first Turkish-language track to exceed one million views on the Genius platform, marking a significant milestone in Turkish music.

In June 2021, Ezhel made his first major international collaboration. He joined forces with Australian rapper Masked Wolf on the remix version of "Astronaut in the Ocean." The original song went viral and accumulated over 500 million streams in the previous year. Ezhel's contribution to the remix further showcased his international appeal and musical versatility.

Since 2019, Ezhel has been residing in Berlin, the capital of Germany. Currently, he is working on preparing his upcoming album, slated for release in 2022.
