The Origin of Hollywood Undead

Hollywood Undead's name originated from a time when its members used to call Hollywood inhabitants "undead." They were called that because they were always out partying, and through their eyes, they looked like zombies. While J-Dog and Deuce were creating one of their songs called "Hollywood," they used the term "undead" as slang for beentive Hollywood residents. J-Dog wrote the band name, Hollywood Undead, along with the song name on a small CD and showed it to his neighbor. His neighbor did not read it correctly and thought both the words were the band's name, and J-Dog liked the way it sounded so much, and the name stuck ever since.
