Lifehouse has cemented their place in the music industry by creating an irresistible blend of pop/rock melody and post-grunge vocals. Jason Wade, the band's lead vocalist, and songwriter has been leading the band since its inception in 1996. The band's journey to success has been a rollercoaster ride that has seen them release six albums, with a handful of top 40 hits. Lifehouse is an alternative rock trio that has stood the test of time, thanks to their soulful, guitar-driven music.

About Lifehouse

Jason Wade formed Lifehouse in 1996 and began writing and rehearsing with bassist Sergio Andrade. For years, the two musicians worked meticulously to perfect their craft, and the band's sound began to take shape. They released a self-released album, "Diff’s Lucky Band," which opened the door for a series of shows at church worship services. Soon after, Lifehouse signed with Dreamworks Records and released their debut album, "No Name Face," in 2000.

The album's lead single, "Hanging by a Moment," fueled their commercial success, enjoying double-platinum sales and becoming the most played radio track of 2001. Despite being in a market dominated by teen pop, Lifehouse proved to have a unique sound that stood out, as they incorporated guitar-based music and soulful vocals into their sound.

Lifehouse followed up their debut success with their second album, "Stanley Climbfall," which was produced by Brendan O'Brien. Although the record wasn't able to match the commercial success of its predecessor, it still found critical acclaim. After the album's release, however, Lifehouse underwent a lineup change, with bassist Sergio Andrade exiting the group to pursue other projects.

Jason Wade pieced together a new version of Lifehouse, consisting of himself, percussionist Rick Woolstenhulme, and former AM Radio bassist/vocalist Bryce Soderberg. In early 2005, the band released their third self-titled album, signaling a new chapter in their musical journey. Their next album, "Who We Are," marked their return to alternative rock and was released in 2007. The album enjoyed gold-certified status and featured three top-40 singles – "First Time," "You and Me," and "Whatever It Takes."

The band continued its commercial success with their fifth album, "Smoke & Mirrors" (2010), which debuted at number six on the Billboard Top 200. The album was supported by a successful tour and delivered the band's hit single "Halfway Gone," which featured collaboration with rapper/songwriter Kevin Rudolf. After the album's touring, the band returned to the studio, where they recorded their sixth studio album with producer Jude Cole. "Almería" (2012) was accompanied by the single "Between the Raindrops," featuring pop singer, Natasha Bedingfield.
