The Fratellis

Formed in 2005, The Fratellis is a three-piece Scottish rock band from Glasgow. Their band name is derived from the crime family in the popular movie, “The Goonies.” The name itself translates from Italian as “brother,” indicating that they are brothers despite having no blood-relation. Comprising Jon Fratelli (lead vocals/guitar), Barry “Baz” Fratelli (bass guitar), and Mince Fratelli (drummer/backing), the band released their debut EP, The Fratellis EP, in 2006, featuring their most popular song to date, “Creepin’ Up The Backstairs.”
