About Young the Giant

Since their first album release, Young the Giant's unique sound and creative lyricism have captivated audiences worldwide. They are known for blending edgy rock with indie pop, and some songs include psychedelic elements as well. Songs like “My Body,” “Cough Syrup,” and “Apartment” have topped the US Alternative Songs chart and brought the band immense fame in the music industry.

Their second album, "Mind Over Matter," was released in 2014, with singles like "It's About Time" and "Crystallized" demonstrating their growth and evolution as a band.

Two years later, they blessed their fans with the third album "Home of the Strange," which deviated from their usual sound and incorporated hints of Indian music, raising questions about the Asian American identity in society. One popular song from that album, "Amerika," addressed social and political issues, reflecting their creative diversity and thoughtful lyrics.

Young the Giant continued to surprise their audience with their fourth album, "Mirror Master," in 2018, where they explored the theme of self-reflection. With songs like "Superposition" and "Heat of the Summer," they continued to navigate their individuality and creative sensibility.

In January 2022, Young the Giant's latest album, "American Bollywood," was released. This album is a unique blend of American and Indian pop, infusing the two cultures seamlessly. The album features nine tracks, including the lead single, "Render."
